Touchmate Middle East, a subsidiary of Quality Group, has launched its own Passport & Visa Control software to help small and home office-based companies convert important staff-related paper documents into searchable digital files.

The proper release of Touchmate Passport & Visa Control Software (TMPVC), version 6.1, follows the rollout earlier this year of a test ‘beta’ version of the app. According to Touchmate, the program is already being used by several companies in the UAE.

The solution is aimed particularly human resource and administration staff working in small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) and the Small Office Home Office (SOHO) segment, in that it helps them keep track of various employee related documents such as staff passports, visas, labour cards, health cards, employee annual leave, in addition to documents pertaining to trade license, tenancy contracts and utility services.

The scanning facility of the software allows users to scan any document directly to their computers and then save, search, print, fax, e-mail and export these files as and when required.

One of the key distinctive features of the solution however is its automated expiry alert system, which gives timely reminders about the expiry or renewal dates of various documents, thus potentially saving companies from fines and penalties.

This new version of Touchmate’s solution also includes a new import option, through which existing data from MS-Excel, MS-Access or MS-SQL can be imported without the need for staff to manually enter this data again. Users can also generate a contact directory of all employee listing information such as telephone numbers and e-mail IDs

Touchmate’s Passport & Visa Control Software single user price is AED 2499, with any additional user license charge priced AED 800.
